What happens when numbers quite literally try to kill you?

Enter Raju, an ordinary boy who much like many of us, despises math. Little did he know, that one night, his peaceful slumber would transform into a battleground against the numbers themselves, thrusting him into a surreal dreamscape where he is forced to use mathematical operators to fend them off.

Math Attack! is a 2D hypercasual action game where you must aid Raju in fighting off the pesky numerical adversaries using three mathematical operators, each possessing various abilities (Addition (+), Subtraction (-), and Multiplication (*)) in order to prolong your survival.

Features:

Fast-paced gameplay.
Use Mathematical Operators in order to eliminate the numbers and rank up your score! Be careful though! These abilities do not last forever and must be picked up again in order to reap their benefits.
Things getting too hectic? Use the Teleport feature to escape the numbers and transport yourself to another platform, where you should (hopefully) be able to find your bearings upon landing on it!
Health Pickups to prolong your survival and continue the onslaught against the weapons!

This game was made for the Glitchpop 3.0 Game Jam where we were tasked with incorporating 2/3 of the following themes:

If I Could Do it Again
Landing on Things
Math is Deadly but Fun

Our game satisfies each of the aforementioned themes:

1) If I Could Do it Again - Players are able to teleport from one platform to another in order to escape the pesky numbers, especially when the number of enemies becomes overwhelming. Additionally, they are also forced to pick up abilities from time to time in order to actually fight back against enemies.

2) Landing On Things - This is where the Teleportation mechanic comes into play. Each time the player teleports, they "land" on another platform that gives them a chance to find their bearings and continue fighting.

3) Math is Deadly But Fun - This theme guided our game design from the very beginning, which inspired us to develop a whimsical gameplay experience centered around arithmetic operations and numbers.
